Model Your Actions
Take a moment to think of someone who has been a positive role model at some point in your experiences. Then take a moment to think of someone who may consider you to be a role model. Hold the images of these special people in your mind as you repeat these statements:
I have seen strength in others
I have felt strength in myself
I can show strength for others
We we find ourselves faced with difficult situations or decisions, remember these thoughts and know that we do have the strength to be the person we want to be.
