Description

Listen up boys and girls! In the coolest science project since we threw a monkey into space, a laboratory gave baby monkeys dolls and trucks, and they preferentially choose toys according to human gender stereotypes. Raj proposes his "girls are dumb" hypothesis, which isn't as sexist as it sounds. Jono renames genetic spandrels "the Garfunkel Effect" and Joe describes the effect of hormones via the Nirvana anthology. (also available on iTunes) The Paper: "Sex differences in rhesus monkey toy preferences parallel those of children" (Hassett et al., 2008).
