Toronto Blue Jays skipper John Schneider finished second in voting for American League Manager of the Year. Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians took home the honour for the second straight year. Sarnia's Rob Thomson of the Philadelphia Phillies finished third for the National League Manager of the Year.
