🪶 We are so excited to share this conversation with Camie Jae Goldhammer, MSW, LICSW, IBCLC (SisÃthuÅ‹waÅ‹-WaÈŸpéthuÅ‹waÅ‹ Oyáte) a Clinical Social Worker, Lactation Consultant and Full Spectrum Indigenous Doula.
🪶 Camie is the founder and chair of the Native American Breastfeeding Coalition of Washington. She is also a founding mother and President Elect of the National Association of Professional and Peer Lactation Supporters of Color.Â
🪶 She is now putting all of her effort into a new non-profit called Hummingbird Indigenous Family Services of which Hummingbird Indigenous Doulas is a foundational program. She is a National leader on topics of racial equity and first food justice. She lives in South Seattle with her husband Eric and two daughters Dylan (12) and JoJo (9) and bougie rez dog, Memphis.Â
