This Womb Wednesday, we begin a new series Mothers in Islam. To help us gain insight from the lives of esteemed women of our faith. To kickoff this segment we will look at the motherhood of the Virgin Mary, who is honored by Islam by being the only woman mentioned by name in the Holy Quran! Her birth experience has lessons for us all to hold on to through our difficult days. May we use her life as an example of how to truly embrace our Gift of Life.
