In this introductory three-part podcast series of Motivational Interviewing (MI), the PSP Learning Hub talks about how MI supports casework in the Permanency Support Program (PSP). It provides practical information on how casework staff may engage with families around safe parenting and building positive, collaborative and trusting relationships that help parents think about ways to resolve the challenges they face.
This part 1 discusses the principles and concepts of MI.
