Description
Mount Baldhead and Oval Beach Loop is a mildly busy, but rewarding hike in Saugatuck, Michigan. The trail starts with several hundred stairs as you walk down to Oval Beach. On the way back up you must climb a large sand dune.
Listen for classic Michigan beach sounds.
A variety of bird calls and insects.
People conversing and greeting hikers passing by.
The ebbing waves of Lake Michigan.
Footsteps upon the giant wooden staircase.
