Tanya and her husband Struan found each other late in life, finally creating the family they had each been longing for. While on an epic bike adventure in South Africa, Struan was struck by a car and killed instantly. Far from a hospital, with no cell service, Struan's friend was left to ride his bike to the closest city for help. 

Trying to manage her grief, Tanya is also left to help her two children understand the loss of their father.
