On December 21st, 1992, just 4 days before Christmas, students at Roherstown Elementary School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania were excited to attend their morning holiday school assembly. Ms. Christy Mirack the school's 6th-grade science teacher was always punctual and arrived by 8 AM each morning. But she hadn’t on that particular day, which was highly unusual.
