Mt Isa welcomes $600m smelter bailout

Description
Mining giant Glencore has accepted a $600 million support package from the Queensland and federal governments to save its ailing sites.
The deal aims to keep the Swiss multinational's Mount Isa Copper Smelter and adjoining Townsville Refinery operational until the end of 2028.
