2010 is an odd year in a lot of ways.  It was quiet, but not in a “before the storm” way.  More in a “putt your head down and get to work” sense.  Great comics were made, and big things were happening mostly under the surface

In many ways these were the darkest days of the Marvel Universe, at least in terms of the stories told in the 616.  Evil was ascendant and heroes were on the run.
