Listen to a vulnerable conversation with Laura Danna and her relationship with wellness.  Laura Danna, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker at Mercy Family Center and the Project Director of Project Fleur-de-lis, an intermediate and long-term school-based mental health program in New Orleans. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas in Austin, and she has spent her career working in and with schools who serve minority youth and their families who have experienced trauma and grief. Through her work in and with schools, she has presented on topics of secondary traumatic stress, self-care, and wellness to school administrators, mental health professionals, teachers, and other school staff.
