NC Dinosaur & LGBTQ+ Plates: New Specialty License Plates

Description
North Carolina drivers can now express their love for prehistoric creatures with a new specialty license plate featuring Acrocanthosaurus, a signature dinosaur from the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences. The plate, priced at $30, supports the Friends of the Museum with $20 from each sale. Personalized versions are also available. Meanwhile, a Venus flytrap-themed plate, approved last year, is now available after years of legislative delays. Additionally, state officials lifted restrictions on personalized vehicle plates, allowing LGBTQ-related terms and phrases.
