With NXT Takeover Tampa canceled following global events, Takeover comes to two episodes of NXT on USA. Tonight was the the first half of proceedings, highlighted by a massive women’s gauntlet match and a triple threat match for the North American Championship. Speaking of the NA division, The “Limitless One” Keith Lee retained after defeating both Damian Priest and Dominick Dijakovic. Dakota Kai gets a spot in the Number One Contender’s Women’s Ladder match after defeating Shotzi Blackheart in that gauntlet match. Dexter Lumis made quick work of a debuting Jake Atlas, and Kushida won his match against Joaquin Wilde. Wilde, upset with is unimpressive win-loss record, was ABDUCTED backstage by a shadowy group for his troubles!
