Todays futures trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange showed a positive trend, with most contracts for November and December twenty-twenty-five, as well as those stretching into twenty-twenty-six and twenty-twenty-seven, experiencing gains. The December twenty-twenty-five contract settled at four thousand one hundred forty points, up forty-five point eight points from its previous close. Estimated sales for today reached three hundred fifty-nine thousand four hundred twenty-three contracts, a noticeable increase compared to Mondays sales. However, the open interest decreased by twenty-eight thousand one hundred twenty-one from Mondays figure. In a separate market, futures trading for different commodities also showed consistent positive changes, with estimated sales reaching one hundred fifty-two thousand nine hundred eighty-five contracts today.
