October is Safe Work Australia’s National Safe Work Month, and this year, unsurprisingly, the theme is ‘Work Health and Safety through COVID-19’.
National Safe Work Month is an opportunity to build awareness of work health and safety, encourage discussion about safety at work, and share best practice.
All workers have the right to a healthy and safe work environment, and no work-related injury, illness or death is ever acceptable.
COVID-19 has changed our world and our workplaces. Good work health and safety practices and risk management are more important than ever.
What we've also seen through the COVID-19 pandemic is just how central work health and safety is, and the significant role plays in allowing Australian businesses to actually operate.
