Archons: archons are celestial beings responsible for the creation and maintenance of the physical universe. They are seen as rulers or lords, often associated with malevolent or oppressive rule. In ancient Greece, "archon" also referred to a chief magistrate or ruler in various city-states, particularly in Athens.
