Every kink scene begins with a negotiation of the scene itself. From what toys to use to what’s off-limits, all things should be discussed and made clear prior to the scene beginning. Don’t make it a quick conversation. Make sure all term are clear and agreed upon.

Besides consent, and negotiating a scene, aftercare is a core element of kink play. It is essential that you know what your partner needs immediately after a scene. Rather it’s a cold drink, a bubble bath or just a moment of conversation, be prepared to do what is necessary to provide the needed aftercare your partner needs.
