Description

This episode will cover a topic that is likely one of the most feared diagnoses in all of pediatrics, a new hematologic malignancy. We will discuss symptoms that are concerning for cancer and the differential for bruising. We will highlight the basic workup when seeing a patient with concerns for malignancy and how to communicate this with families. We will also review complications and considerations when taking care of a patient newly diagnosed with cancer.
