With New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr injured, Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler could be put in position to battle in practices to be the NFL Week 15 starter against the Washington Commanders. New Orleans and Darren Rizzi could do what they've done all season and foster competition between Haener and Rattler Wednesday and Thursday, declaring a winner on Friday to start if Carr can't go on Sunday.

Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller along with their offensive line must be able to run the ball successfully if the want to get a win against the Washington Commanders. Limited Brian Robinson Jr. and Jayden Daniels on the ground will be a challenge for Chase Young and the Saints' defense. But it will be necessary in order to give themselves the best chance for an upset at home.
