I just got back from PolaCon in New York City, and boy was it refreshing! It's tough when you don't live in a big city or have a big creative community, because you can get stuck in your head. Going to photography meet-ups and events like PolaCon can really help jumpstart your mind and be inspiring. There are so many people out there doing really cool stuff, and the best way to get connected is to just show up to a space IN REAL LIFE and just hang out with people. I highly recommend it.
