Description

Neil Murray, founder of The Nordic Web Ventures, has closed a $6 million fund focused on early-stage robotics, AI, and deep tech startups in the Nordic region. Murray, a UK native, has invested in over 50 companies, including unicorn Lovable and remote worker insurance provider SafetyWing. He plans to back 30-35 new ventures with $200k checks, emphasizing top-tier founders over larger ownership stakes. The fund attracted institutional backers and individual investors, including founders from Kahoot! and Pleo, and operators from Meta and Google. Murrays success is evident in the return of more than half the capital from his first two funds.
