Description

On this episode we had the fortune to speak with former rugby player and entrepreneur and speaker, Fergus Farrell.

Fergus is such a highly inspiring person and his journey is nothing short of miraculous.

Fergus was a former rugby player but in 2018 had a tragic accident which left him paralysed from the belly button down.

He was told he would never walk again.

What Fergus has subsequently achieved is incredible.

Fergus walked out of hospital on his own two feet, he then walked 206km across Ireland and back into the hospital on the first anniversary of his accident, and has also attempted to row the Atlantic

This was such an inspiring chat and full of life lessons, such as :

  • Not taking anything for granted
  • Appreciating what you have, not what you don't have
  • Asking for help
  • The importance of hardwork and what it can achieve
  • The power of visulisation
  • Proof that a zero percent chance doesn't necessarily mean zero percent chance
  • Importance of a challenge and not giving up on yourself
  • Why positive language is important
