Not Yet, with Author Dr. Jeff Driscoll MD
Update: 2020-11-04
Description
As an emergency physician, Dr. O'Driscoll received messages that helped him care for patients. Occasionally they led him to a diagnosis he hadn’t considered. Some people, however, were simply too ill or too injured to survive. And, when a patient died, sometimes he saw their spirit—their eternal essence—leave their body. They always thanked him for his efforts. They were always grateful. Knowing how they felt about their transition helped Dr. O'Driscoll when friends and family members left this realm.
After a quarter century of silence, he finally came to feel he should share. Many of his experiences are in his award-winning book, Not Yet. Others, he shares in person. In the ER, he cared for more than 60,000 patients. As he boarded a plane to his first formal speaking engagement, a kind voice he’d come to trust, wrapped around his heart and whispered, “You will help more people with this book than you helped as a physician in the emergency department.” He was so grateful he wept.
