In Ephesians 5:18-19, St Paul urges the faithful of the early Church to “be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.” In response to Paul’s request, our show today looks at several famous hymns - both ancient and modern, meant for both personal and congregational singing - that tell of the love we have for the Lord.
