It could be a weekend to remember in Vancouver so Matt and Blake want to make sure you're ready! The guys setup the 3 nights of a sold out Goldeneyes opener, a sold out Whitecaps playoff match, and the Canucks facing a pseudo must win vs the Flames. They also look back on the night that was for the Canucks vs the Stars, a game that saw much improved play from the team but without any points and begging the question "Is this just who they are?". RinkWide's Jeff Paterson joins the guys for his Friday report and finds it difficult to define where the Canucks are headed, but concedes time is running short, and that the defensive game just needs to limit the bottom line. JPat gets into the top 6, and the limited changes available to Adam Foote, plus, the role of Evander Kane is under the spotlight once again. The Sheet's Jeff Marek stops by to discuss the Canucks' state of affairs and how 60 games really isn't that long a runway. He also gets into the offensive emergence of EP40, the possibility of the kids joining Canada at the Olympics, and the excitement over the PWHL season. The guys finish up with a look at the Goldeneyes captains for the season, the Whitecaps release a very interesting schedule for the World Cup season of 2026 and the Buffalo Bills just can't seem to find that uber elite level.
