“Whatsoever you do, do it heartily to the Lord, and not unto men; for of the Lord, we shall receive the reward of inheritance: for we serve the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23-24)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Engage in heartfelt prayer to God rather than seeking the approval of others. Whatever tasks or responsibilities you undertake, engage in them wholeheartedly and with genuine enthusiasm, as if you are doing them for the Lord rather than for mere human approval. Remember that it is from the Lord that you will ultimately receive the true reward, which is the gift of inheritance; this is because it is the Lord whom you serve. Let this understanding inspire you to put your best effort into everything you do, recognizing the higher purpose behind your work.
