“The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God: the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud shout, accompanied by the commanding voice of the archangel, and the resounding trumpet of God. In that momentous hour, the dead who have placed their faith in Christ will rise first, emerging from their graves. Following this miraculous resurrection, those of us who are still alive will be united with them, gathered together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This glorious event will mark the beginning of our eternal fellowship, as we shall be with the Lord forever, experiencing His love and presence for all eternity.
