Nutty Putty Cave
Update: 2024-01-101
Description
Nutty Putty Cave, the nearly 1,400 foot cave, located 55 miles outside Salt Lake City, Utah, had been the site of a few rescue missions for unfortunate spelunkers, leading up to a visit by 26 year old John Edward Jones and friends on November 24, 2009. John, like a few before him, became stuck in the cave. Jack and Aaron discuss the dramatic rescue attempts and what happened to John that fateful day.

As someone who grew up in Utah and knowing where Nutty is at and I have been to the caves a few times years ago, it was actually fun as hell but it could be so damn dangerous as this story about John will tell you. I remember hearing about the rescue attempt going on and the outcome afterwards. I think I didn't go near any caves after this.
