Maureen Cox was like any other teenage girl in Liverpool. The height of Beatlemania in their home country made then a national treasure in the early 60s. She was only 18 years old when she became pregnant with Ringo Starr's first child and married him not long after. From infidelity with another Beatle to enduring physical assault from frenzied fangirls, Maureen's story has been overshadowed for decades. Today, we tell her story.
