After the road trip hits a snag in Pittsburgh, Matt and Blake are awash in storylines to discuss on today's show. The guys look at the increasing criticism of Adam Foote and his line deployment, particularly that of EP40. They look at the goaltending, faceoffs, special teams, and is there yet another injury to deal with?? Postmedia's Patrick Johnston stops by to give his take on the issues at hand, and what the solutions might be in the near term. The guys debate whether the Canucks even have the assets to acquire anybody new, and if Foote can really do anything more than he is with the roster he's been given. Plus, is Quinn Hughes playing like himself? Then it's TSN's Frank Corrado with a deeper dive than you'd expect on Canucks forward Joe LaBate, a former teammate in the Canucks organization. Frank also has his thoughts on the Pettersson ice time of late and whether he or Foote is the origin of the problem. The show wraps up with a debrief on the Whitecaps media roundtable with Axel Schuster and the possibilty for the team to increase revenue, plus the guys look at the possibility of a 30k plus crowd for the playoff game this weekend. The Lions get a better idea of their opposition for their huge game in Regina, and the pitching matchups start to take shape for the World Series!
