A U.S. District Court recently dismissed a class-action lawsuit led by former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor against the NCAA and the university. The lawsuit alleged violations of antitrust law by prohibiting student-athletes from profiting from their names, images, and likenesses. The court ruled that the case was filed beyond the statute of limitations.



The HBO documentary "Surviving Ohio State," directed by Eva Orner and produced by George Clooney, premiered on June 17. The film explores the university's abuse scandal, shedding light on the experiences of survivors and the institution's response. It has sparked important conversations about accountability and support for victims.
