This was the idea that Ollie Brenman had 10 years ago when he was just 18, but it wasn’t until the pandemic combined with a change of jobs for Ollie, that he was able to take the opportunity to turn his idea into a reality.

Butter & Crust delivers delicious bread, pastries and other carefully sourced breakfast goods by bike to homes across South London to arrive as first thing on a Saturday and Sunday morning.

Ollie kindly takes us through his journey in real detail from the start up days of juggling his job in finance alongside tough very early morning bike rides to more recent adventures of fundraising and his ambitious plans for his growing business.
