Operation Ajax: The CIA’s Secret War in Iran
Description
In 1953, Kermit Roosevelt, grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, has unlimited job prospects. But instead of picking a cushy desk job or following his Nobel Peace Prize-winning grandfather's footsteps, he joins the CIA and heads to Tehran where he launches the controversial Operation AJAX - a CIA and MI6 joint venture that topples Iran’s power structure and unleashes decades of chaos.

about the red flyers… iranians use “persian”, not “arabic”. these are two completely different languages. it’s a small detail, but it casts the merit of the podcast into doubt - a podcast which at first glance sounds well-researched. to be fair, to unfamiliar eyes, persian and arabic writing look the same because they share a largely common alphabet - eg german and english. same as the common misperception that iranians are arabs (maybe because of the majority muslim, albeit shiite, population)
