On October 11, 2025, the Oregon marching band settled a long-standing debate by performing Im Just Ken from the Barbie movie, forming a duck on the field, and displaying Just the Duck on the scoreboard. The official mascot, The Duck, has always been The Duck, not Puddles, as confirmed by Disney, official websites, and even legendary Oregon quarterback Dan Fouts.
