Oregon Ethics Commission Dismisses Pritchard Complaint
Update: 2025-12-13
Description
The Oregon Government Ethics Commission dismissed a complaint against Shaun Pritchard, former CEO of UCAN, who was accused of failing to disclose conflicts of interest while serving on Roseburgs Homeless Commission. The complaint stemmed from UCANs purchase of a building by the city and the awarding of a contract to the nonprofit. Despite findings of Pritchard using his position to benefit UCAN, the commission found no violation as UCAN did not qualify as a business Pritchard was personally associated with, and there was no evidence of personal financial gain.
