Sophie has focused her work on the intersection between poverty and sexual health since beginning her public health career in 1993.
Prior to joining the School of Public Health, Godley oversaw prevention and education programs as deputy director of the AIDS Action Committee, and also served as the director of the Office of Adolescent Health and Youth Development at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
