In this podcast, Dr. Roger Marsh, director of the National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries visits with Connie Yancey, director of Raceway Ministries, Atlanta. As they converse, Connie shares how ministry went at the second NASCAR race weekend for 2021 at AMS. Since the COVID-19 pandemic has been easing, camping, racing and ministry at AMS felt a bit more "normal", in contrast to the previous NASCAR weekend at the venue. As revealed in the course of the interview, however, trends for the fan experience at the NASCAR track still seem to be in transition, prompting some consideration for changes in ministry strategy moving forward. During the interview, Connie also shares some great examples of how ministry unfolded during the July 2021 NASCAR weekend at AMS, and she shares details about some creative appeals utilized on Face Book for recruiting volunteers.
