PA Project Firstline Great Escape from Infections

Merewyn Sheeran of Pennsylvania Project Firstline discusses how a program using the escape room format provides a supportive and engaging environment for developing attendees’ knowledge. Viewers will learn how to use the escape room experience in their facility to enhance and improve the foundational knowledge of their frontline healthcare workers on infection prevention and control.
Merewyn Sheeran, BS, RN, CIC, LTC-CIP, is an Infection Preventionist with the Bureau of Epidemiology at the Pennsylvania Department of Health. She is part of the Division of Healthcare Associated Infection Prevention and a subject matter expert for PA Project Firstline.
PA Project Firstline, developed in partnership with the CDC, is an innovative project designed to promote foundational knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPC) for all types of frontline health care workers.
