Amie Hoffman was an eighteen year old cheerleader at Parsippany Hills high school in Hanover Township, New Jersey. She left her part-time job at the local mall that evening, November 23, 1982. She was returning home to spend Thanksgiving with her adoptive family after she had completed a double shift. 

She never arrived.
