Description

On September 23, 2010, 17-year-old Paige Johnson left her mother’s home in Florence, Kentucky to go hangout with a friend, Jacob Bumpass. At some point during that evening, Paige sent a message to her sister, saying “girl call me now, I need to talk to you ASAP.” Paige never returned home after that evening, and that is the last time anyone has ever heard from her. Jacob claims that he dropped Paige off at intersection in nearby Covington, KY, close to where her sister was staying. More than nine years later, Paige’s family is still waiting for her to come home and searching for answers as to what happened on the night that September night.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Paige Johnson, please call the Covington Police Department at 859-292-2222. You may also call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.

UPDATE: On March 25, 2020, it was announced that a passerby found human remains in Clermont County, Ohio on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Those remains have been identified as Paige Johnson.

In July of 2020, Jacob Bumpass was indicted on charges of abuse of corpse and tampering with evidence in connection with Paige Johnson's disappearance and death.

UPDATE: On July 24, 2023, Jacob Bumpass was found guilty of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Less evidence has been used to charge others with murder yet this sob Jacob gets a pass?! It’s obvious he’s responsible! My friend was murdered and the last person to see her alive was charged because of circumstantial evidence. Same here
