In the special edition episode of the ABSW podcast, we are taking a true deep dive into toxic workplaces and abusive supervisors. We are looking at abusive supervisors from the lens of domestic violence and the similarities between the two. We look at the literature from the impact of abusive workplaces and supervisors, to why employees stay in toxic work environments, on to employees feeling guilt and self-blame, to what happens when people stay. I also give an overview of my survey results on abusive supervisors. This is part 1 of 3 in a miniseries about abusive supervisors.
