Description

Ordained since the late 1970s, Ven. Robina has worked full time since then for Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). Over the years she has served as editorial director of Wisdom Publications, editor of Mandala Magazine, executive director of Liberation Prison Project, and as a touring teacher of Buddhism. Here's a link to Chasing Buddha, which is mentioned throughout the episode:https://youtu.be/B3Xx4vSHUyY?si=URaiHqlIAD_G_NSP

We talked about opinions and the impact of negative thoughts, prison chaplaincy and the doors that open when you adjust your attitude, activism and changing the world by exploring your self, the need to abstain in order to perceive the nature of your attachments, and the importance of recognizing your enormous potential.
