We get real about what it was like growing up in South Central: life on Section 8, dealing with a broken education system, facing racism, and growing up without a father figure—something all three of us relate to. Patty shares her experience as a first born helping raise her siblings, overcoming hardships as an Afro-Latina and finding herself, and Marlon talks about the wild moments we went through in high school and what helped him stay grounded.
