Peeling Back Your Layers; Transparency and Vulnerability in ALT Relationships
Description
Welcome back! For today’s episode, we’re going to talk about vulnerability and transparency in alternative relationships. We’ll talk about communication, opening up to new partners, or “peeling back the layers of the onion”. We’ll share about baggage that we bring with us to our relationships, and we explore the question “How do we talk with our partners about our disability and our medical issues?”. I mention the author Brene Brown in this podcast and I highly suggest reading her work on vulnerability. You can find her Ted Talk on the Power of Vulnerability and numerous books on the topic including Dare to Lead which is mentioned in this episode.
