Pens Lose 8th Straight, Fowler Shines
Update: 2025-12-21
Description
The Pittsburgh Penguins suffered a humiliating 4-0 shutout loss to the Montreal Canadiens, extending their losing streak to eight games. Coach Mike Sullivan made significant line changes, including bringing back Tommy Novak and reuniting young players, but it wasnt enough. The Canadiens scored early and often, with Cole Caufield setting up Juraj Slafkovsky for the first goal and Owen Beck capitalizing on a late power play. The Penguins struggled on the power play and in generating shots, while Jacob Fowler dominated in net for the Canadiens. The Penguins will look to bounce back in tomorrows rematch, but theyll have their work cut out for them. Checkout Solipillow.com
