Joining Scott and Susan on the podcast this week is Caroline Rush CBE, Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council. Caroline has played a key role in the organisation of London Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards; helping solidify London’s place as a globally-renowned fashion hub. On this episode Caroline talks influences growing up as an ‘80s girl’, where she was inspired by icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Bananarama, Red or Dead and Salt n Pepa, but most of all her Mum - a seamstress, fashion lover and social butterfly who Caroline would regularly steal clothes from. Caroline also speaks on the future of 'sustainable fashion', the importance of “buying British” and how an industry that has historically carried a lot of sins could lead the way in moving towards a greener planet.
