Welcome to the December edition of Turn Up The Volume! from The Stables in Milton Keynes, bringing you, as ever, in-depth interviews with the artists you can enjoy at the venue in the coming weeks. Peter Cox will be coming as one half of Go West in December, and then returning next year with a solo show. Nearly 40 years since the release of "We Close Our Eyes", Peter talks at length in a lovely interview about the early days of the group, the incredible success they enjoyed, the difficult second album, breaking through in the States and his own solo career too. All this while surrounded by packing boxes having literally just moved into his new home!

Nick then chats to the wonderfully engaging Mari Wilson, who is bringing her Christmas special to The Stables. They talk about beehives, 80s success, the tricky jazz audiences, writing an Emmy winning track in 36 hours and how to manage a huge ensemble like the Wilsations. When other groups had two members, they had anything up to 12!

Finally, Nick looks ahead to this years Christmas treat at The Stables, as Noel and Antonia, from multi award-winning theatre group Box Tale Soup talk about their gorgeous production of Hansel and Gretel - a Christmas reworking, fit for all the family.
