Biography

While completing her Ph.D. in 18th-century literature, Philippa Gregory wrote her first novel, “Wideacre,” which became an instant international best-seller. She has gone on to publish more than 20 novels, many reflecting her historical knowledge of the Tudor period and the 18th century. The award-winning “The Other Boleyn Girl” (2002) was adapted for the BBC, released as a major motion picture in the United States in 2008 and immediately rose to the top of all major best-seller lists. Gregory will appear in the Fiction & Mystery pavilion.
