British police say they are probing claims that Prince Andrew tried to smear his sexual assault accuser — Virginia Giuffre — in 2011. The Mail on Sunday reports the prince passed on Giuffre's date of birth and social security number to his state-funded police protection.
Last Friday, Prince Andrew renounced his royal titles as further revelations about his ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein emerged. He vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
